Rooted in a century-long family tradition, the Asturias Maldonado Foundation (AMF/FAM) is dedicated to transforming the lives of rural families in Western Guatemala. Our mission is to empower the children of coffee and agricultural workers through education, fostering self-sufficiency, and enhancing community well-being.

Established in 2011 by members of the Asturias Maldonado family, the Asturias Maldonado Foundation builds on a legacy of service. Registered in Guatemala as a non-profit, also incorporated as a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your contributions may be tax-deductible under U.S. Law.

By offering access to high-quality education, we create opportunities that break the cycle of poverty and migration. Together with our generous supporters, we are making education a reality for children and families in San Marcos, Guatemala.
